OverflowManagerTM is a patented service that instantly expands the inbound phone call volume capacity of a pharmacy. Based on our study of typical 4-line pharmacies over the course of 2002, up to 6% of all customers calling in prescription refill orders receive a busy signal! That's because the calls tend to be clustered around the most convenient hours for customers and doctors to call. The result is lost sales, unhappy customers and doctors and poor customer responsiveness. This problem occurs regardless of the IVR and pharmacy management system used. OverflowManagerTM was developed and tested to eliminate this problem for the pharmacy.
With OverflowManagerTM, customers and doctors calling in prescription orders to the pharmacy will always be greeted with the pharmacy's customized message and be able to leave their prescription order or a general voice mail, regardless of the number of phone lines or call volume. OverflowManagerTM is an outsourced service; that is, we host all of the hardware and software required to take prescription orders at our central call center. The result to the pharmacy is a virtually unlimited capacity to process inbound prescription orders WITHOUT adding costly new hardware, software or phone lines.
OverflowManagerTM is designed to work in conjunction with your current IVR system, no matter which brand you use. When all of your inbound phone lines are being used, OverflowManagerTM forwards additional calls to our central call center where they are processed. Once the message has been left, OverflowManagerTM alerts the pharmacy that there are new prescription orders in the queue. Depending on the infrastructure of the pharmacy, pharmacies can receive message alerts via fax, email or have the messages sent directly to their pharmacy management system. The pharmacy only pays for calls processed, therefore there is never the risk of paying for services not used. OverflowManagerTM works with all brands of IVR and pharmacy management systems.
